The Philips Master SON-T PIA Plus addresses this directly through its Integrated Antenna (PIA) ignition technology, a proprietary design that enables 95% lumen maintenance after 20,000 operating hours. Standard HPS lamps typically drop 15 to 20% within the first 5,000 hours of use. For a grower running the same lamp across multiple cycles, the difference in light output by the third or fourth run is substantial.

Output is rated at 33,000 lumens at 125 lm/W efficacy, placing it among the stronger performers in the 250W HPS class. The 2000K spectrum produces the orange-red dominant light that targets the PAR wavelengths most actively absorbed during the flowering photoperiod, supporting dense, productive flowering across the canopy.
