Reservoir temperature is a variable that gets overlooked in a lot of hydroponic setups, but it has a direct effect on root zone activity, nutrient uptake, and dissolved oxygen levels in the solution. Cold reservoirs slow root metabolism and nutrient uptake rates, while reservoirs that drop too low in cooler months or unheated grow spaces can stall growth entirely. The Aqua One Glass Heater provides accurate, reliable reservoir heating to keep root zone temperature stable regardless of ambient conditions.

The heater is fully submersible and double insulated, with an adjustable thermostat that allows precise temperature setting across a wide range of 20°C to 34°C, suiting the optimal root zone temperature range for the vast majority of hydroponic crops. An automatic shut-off feature switches the heater off once the target temperature is reached, preventing overheating, while an indicator light shows clearly when the heater is actively warming the solution. The economical design delivers reliable heating performance without the premium price tag of higher-end alternatives.

Always disconnect the heater from its power supply before working on the reservoir. If removing the heater from the solution, switch it off and allow 10 to 15 minutes to cool before removal. Never operate the heater outside of water, and ensure it does not come into direct contact with substrate, growing media, or the base of the reservoir. Also well suited to tropical and marine aquariums.
