Sticky traps provide a simple, non-toxic monitoring tool that catches flying insects before populations build, allowing you to identify what is present, where it is concentrated, and whether numbers are increasing or declining over time.

Bugs for Bugs sticky traps are made from biodegradable cardboard with glue applied to both sides. The glue is non-toxic, water-repellent, and does not dry out in hot conditions, making the traps reliable in both indoor growing environments and outdoor settings. A printed grid on each side of the trap makes counting trapped insects straightforward, which is important for tracking population trends accurately rather than making rough estimates. Each trap measures 10 x 25 cm and is supplied with a twist-tie for hanging on plants, posts, or wires. Peel open and reverse-fold to expose the sticky surface before hanging. Check traps at least once a week. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, though traps may deteriorate if exposed to prolonged heavy rain or overhead irrigation.

The blue trap is specifically attractive to thrips and some other flying pest species. Use blue traps where thrips pressure is the primary concern or where thrips monitoring is part of an integrated pest management program.
