Maintaining a stable temperature in a grow space requires active control in both directions. Too warm and the exhaust fan needs to come on; too cold and the heater needs to kick in. Managing both from a single controller simplifies the setup and ensures neither side of the equation is left unmonitored. The Growlush GTC-V2 is a dual-function analogue thermostat with two independent outputs, one for a cooling device such as an exhaust fan and one for a heating device, allowing complete temperature control from a single unit.

The cooling output activates when room temperature exceeds the set point, triggering the connected fan or air conditioning unit to bring the temperature back down. The heating output operates in reverse, activating the connected heater when temperature drops below the set point and switching it off once the target is reached. A steel probe is placed at the point in the grow space where temperature control matters most, ensuring the controller is responding to conditions at the right location rather than at the unit itself.

The heating output is also well suited to controlling propagation heat mats, maintaining a consistent substrate temperature for seedlings and cuttings without the risk of overheating that comes from running a heat mat continuously without thermostat control. Short-circuit protection is built in. Simple analogue operation with no complex programming required.
