Orchids have specific nutritional requirements that make a generic fertiliser a poor fit. Many fertilisers rely on urea as a nitrogen source, which has been shown to be toxic to certain orchid genera and contributes to root damage over time. Orchid Focus supplies all nitrogen in 100% nitrate form, eliminating this risk and providing a nitrogen source that is immediately available and gentle on the sensitive root systems orchids are known for.

The formulation carries elevated calcium at 1.8% relative to other Focus products, which supports cell wall strength, reduces the risk of tip burn and blossom end rot, and contributes to disease resistance, all relevant concerns in orchid cultivation. Potassium at 2.0% and phosphorus at 0.5% provide balanced support across both vegetative and flowering stages without driving one at the expense of the other. The complete trace element profile is supplied in chelated form for consistent bioavailability across the pH range typical of orchid growing media.

pH buffered for stability across most tap water. Flush monthly with plain water. Standard dose: 5 ml per litre at every watering. Once monthly, increase to 8 ml per litre for additional vigour and colour intensity.
