Canna Coco Cube

Canna Coco Cube is a compressed block of RHP-certified Canna Coco coir that expands to approximately 40 litres when hydrated, delivering the same high-quality substrate as loose-fill Canna Coco in a significantly more compact and convenient format. The compressed form takes up a fraction of the storage and transport space, and the packaging doubles as the hydration vessel: open the bag, add water, and use the built-in carry handles to manage the process without needing separate tubs or containers.

Canna does not steam sterilise its coco, a deliberate choice. Steam sterilisation kills the medium's natural protective biology, including Trichoderma, converts plant-available nitrate nitrogen into the toxic nitrite form, and alters the structure of the coir to retain more water than is beneficial for root zone aeration. Canna Coco is instead washed to remove salts and buffered to stabilise chemistry and pH, arriving ready to use without the need for pre-rinsing or additional buffering. The unique buffering process also allows a single Canna Coco A&B nutrient formulation to be used across both vegetative and flowering stages, without switching products at the flip. The substrate is reusable across multiple cycles. Compatible with the full Canna nutrient range.
