Getting a cutting to root quickly and establish cleanly is one of the more critical windows in the crop cycle. Before roots are present, the cutting has no means of taking up water or nutrients through normal pathways, making it entirely dependent on what it can absorb through the stem and any developing root initials. CCS is a single-pack liquid nutrient concentrate formulated specifically for this stage, combining a complete and balanced mineral fertiliser with an added rooting hormone to address both needs simultaneously.

The rooting hormone accelerates root initiation and development, producing a larger, faster-establishing root mass than an unassisted cutting would develop on its own. As those roots form, the complete mineral profile provides the nutrition the cutting needs to remain healthy and begin growing vigorously rather than stalling while the root system catches up. Vitamin B-1 supports stress reduction and root development during the establishment period, reducing the risk of stem and leaf rot while roots are forming.

CCS is compatible with all propagation methods and media, including rockwool, water propagation, flood and drain, aeroponics, and solid substrates. Use from first root initiation through to transplant. Start at 5 ml per litre and increase gradually up to a maximum of 10 ml per litre as the cutting becomes established. Adjust pH to 5.5 to 6.5. Best results when used alongside Clonex Rooting Gel.
