Clonex addresses all three of these problems simultaneously, which is why it has become the propagation standard for commercial and home growers alike.

Clonex is a tenacious gel formulated around indole butyric acid (IBA) at 3g/L, a naturally occurring auxin that directly stimulates root cell initiation at the base of the cutting. The gel consistency is key to how it works: unlike liquid hormone dips that wash off or lose contact quickly, Clonex adheres firmly around the stem and maintains sustained contact with the cut tissue throughout the rooting period. This seals the wound against air and infection while delivering a continuous hormone signal to the developing root zone. Vitamins within the formulation protect the delicate new root tissue as it emerges, and mineral nutrients support the cutting during the early establishment phase before a functional root system is in place.

Decant the required amount into a clean container before use and dip the cutting to the desired rooting depth. Do not dip directly from the original container as this risks contaminating the remaining product. Discard any used gel. Compatible with all propagation media.
