pH stability is one of the more difficult variables to maintain in a hydroponic system, particularly for growers working with soft water sources. Rainwater, tank water, and reverse osmosis water all have very low buffering capacity, meaning pH can shift quickly and unpredictably as nutrient salts interact with the solution. These fluctuations directly affect nutrient availability; elements that are accessible at one pH become locked out at another, causing deficiency symptoms even when the nutrient is present in the solution.

House & Garden pH Stabiliser is a buffering agent developed specifically for low-EC water sources. Added to the reservoir before the base nutrient, it establishes a stable pH baseline that can persist for up to 10 days under normal conditions, reducing the frequency of manual adjustments and the risk of pH-related deficiencies. It is particularly well-suited to growers using reverse osmosis systems, where pH instability is a common and persistent challenge.

Use throughout the entire growth and flowering cycle. Add pH Stabiliser to the reservoir before introducing base nutrient or other additives.
