pH Raise 500ml

pH is one of the most important variables in a hydroponic system. Even when a nutrient solution is correctly formulated, certain elements become unavailable for uptake outside the optimal pH range, causing deficiency symptoms to develop despite the nutrient being present in the solution. For most hydroponic crops, maintaining pH between 5.5 and 6.5 covers the availability window of the full nutrient profile, with 6.0 being the ideal target.

pH naturally fluctuates during the crop cycle as plants take up nutrients in varying ratios across different growth stages. A rising pH is common and expected during the vegetative phase as plants grow strongly, while a dropping pH is more typical during flowering as nutrient uptake ratios shift. pH Up is a potassium hydroxide-based solution used to correct pH that has drifted too low, raising it back into the optimal range quickly and accurately. Potassium hydroxide is the preferred active ingredient for pH correction in hydroponic systems as it contributes potassium rather than sodium, avoiding unnecessary salt accumulation in the root zone.

Always dilute before adding to the reservoir: mix 10 ml into 1 litre of water, then add the diluted solution gradually while testing pH frequently until the target range is reached. Larger reservoirs will require proportionally larger volumes. Handle with care as this product is caustic and can cause burns on contact with skin or eyes. Use protective gloves and eye protection during handling. Keep out of reach of children.
