Healthy soil biology is the foundation of a productive organic growing system. The microbial populations living in and around the root zone are responsible for breaking down organic matter into plant-available nutrients, improving soil structure, suppressing pathogenic organisms, and facilitating the nutrient exchange processes that determine how efficiently a plant can access what is in the substrate. When microbial diversity is low or populations have been depleted by chemical inputs, poor-quality water, or exhausted growing media, plant performance suffers even when nutrients are present in the soil.

Seacliff Microbe-Pro is a concentrated liquid microbial inoculant containing a diverse blend of beneficial bacteria and yeasts specifically selected to restore and improve soil biological activity. The formulation includes four Lactobacillus species (plantarum, casei, fermentum, and delbrueckii), which produce lactic acid and support a healthy microbial environment while suppressing conditions that favour pathogenic organisms. Bacillus subtilis is a well-established beneficial bacteria known for improving nutrient availability, promoting root development, and providing suppression of soil-borne pathogens. Saccharomyces cerevisiae contributes to the breakdown of organic matter and supports microbial diversity in the root zone. Rhodopseudomonas palustris is a photosynthetic bacteria that fixes atmospheric nitrogen and carbon, contributing to long-term soil fertility and reducing dependence on external nutrient inputs.

Apply when introducing fresh compost or organic amendments to growing beds, at key plant growth stages, or to compost piles to accelerate decomposition and improve compost quality. Store sealed in a cool, dry location after opening; active for six months from production when stored correctly.

Dose rate: 10 ml per litre of water, applied to soil once weekly.
