Coco coir as a growing medium has specific nutritional demands that a generic base nutrient is not designed to meet. Its natural cation exchange properties affect how elements including calcium and magnesium are retained and released, and its buffering capacity influences pH behaviour differently to inert substrates or soil. Canna was the first to develop a nutrient formulated specifically around these characteristics, and Canna Coco A&B remains the benchmark coco-specific nutrient for this reason.

Because coco's buffering and exchange properties shift the relationship between the plant and its nutrient supply in a way that makes separate grow and bloom formulas less relevant, Canna Coco uses a single A&B formulation across both the vegetative and flowering stages. The formulation contains natural chelates, humic acids, and fulvic acids alongside high-quality minerals, supporting consistent nutrient absorption throughout the full crop cycle without the need to switch products at the flip. Compatible with run-to-waste, flood, and ebb and flow systems.

Always add part A to water first and mix thoroughly before adding part B. Do not mix A and B concentrates directly. Store sealed in a dark, frost-free location. Dose rate: 40 ml of A and 40 ml of B per 10 litres of water (1:250). Solution EC in tap water: 1.2 to 2.3 mS/cm2. Recommended pH: 5.5 to 6.2.
